Extending Mizzou's E-Week tradition
Engineers' Week will invoke tradition with a twist this year as students seek greater campus and community involvement in their annual celebration.
Organizers are again turning MU's Jesse Hall dome lights green in honor of E-Week, as they have since engineering students inaugurated the tradition in 1988. But this year engineering student leaders are launching E-Week with a March 7 dome-lighting ceremony instead of an off-campus concert in hopes of involving more alumni and campus colleagues in the weeklong celebration.
